Achingly beautiful sibling harmonies from this outstanding Australian duo. Get your tickets now. We have been fortunate to host some brilliant musicians from around the world. One of our favourites is Charm of Finches. Just perfect for our intimate venue. It will of course sell out pretty quickly. Australian sister duo Charm of Finches delivers intricate indie-folk that is simultaneously graceful and darkly bewitching. Their seamless blood harmonies traverse melancholy and wonder in equal measure. The sisters, Mabel and Ivy Windred-Wornes, now based in Scotland, have toured extensively throughout Australia, UK, Europe and Canada since 2014. Their fourth studio album ‘Marlinchen In The Snow’ was recorded in rural Nova Scotia with acclaimed Canadian producer Daniel Ledwell (Jenn Grant, Good Lovelies), inspired by the frozen beauty of the landscape, Grimm’s Fairy Tales from their childhood and their transient life on the road with their music. They return with the release of their new single ‘Meteor’, inspired by the powerful forces of nature that reflect a tumultuous inner world. Recorded by the rugged coastline of Victoria, Australia, and mixed in Canada, Meteor marks the beginning of a string of new music to be released throughout 2026. Charm of Finches are winners of the Australian Folk Music Awards Best Folk Album (2022), Music Victoria Best Folk Act (2021) and have been nominated twice for the Australian Music Prize. Who: Track Dogs Tickets £18.83 incl booking fee. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/americana-temperance-track-dogs-tickets-1993131862053?aff=oddtdtcreator **!https://files.teamup.com/13511926/attachment/01KXH6N3EZJVJQRMFBPMKCKRP8/preview/image.png?hash=43a6e3fd511e4d5e10a0c1712c7d5d64fb8277cd6a43b8ab01ebbe170812d5df** These amiable acoustic troubadours deliver a rousing good time with foot-stomping tunes, rich harmonies, and infectious energy. Will be fun! Track Dogs are an international roots quartet, and one of the most eclectic and vibrant bands on the European scene. These amiable acoustic troubadours deliver a rousing good time with their adventurous fusion of Folk, Latino and Americana, and stunning 4-part harmonies. Overflowing with musical brilliance, generosity of spirit, and with humour never far away, Track Dogs revel in audience connectivity; one of the many reasons for their devoted following. Theirs is an irresistible flavour of brass-fuelled, sing-along, dance-along music. In their relatable lyrics, there’s plenty of depth, pathos and sentiment to be found too. Drawing comparisons to groups such as *Crosby, Stills & Nash*, *America*, *Calexico* and *Manu Chao*, the band play an ever-developing array of instruments including acoustic guitar, electric base, trumpet, cajon, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, flugelhorn and piano. All four band members have lived in Madrid for many years though are originally from Ireland (Garrett Wall, Dave Mooney), the UK (Howard Brown) and the US (Robbie K Jones). Having begun as buskers, the band has spent two decades gaining a wide following and turning first-time listeners into lifelong fans. Although the band comprises two Irishmen, an Englishman and an American, their success is certainly no joke! They celebrate 20 years together in 2026; have released 11 albums and toured widely in Europe throughout their career, often collaborating with others, such as Iain Matthews, and *Show of Hands* with whom they formed the supergroup *Dog Show Sessions and played the Royal Albert Hall. Track Dogs have played on stages large and small across Europe; including Cultura Quente, Americana Music Festival Madrid, renowned venues such as La Riviera Madrid and Razzmatazz Barcelona, plus Costa Festivals in Amsterdam, Portugal, Ibiza and beyond. Their UK festival appearances have included Glastonbury, Gate To Southwell, Moonbeams, Northern Kin and Wickham Festival. Their widely acclaimed 2025 double album, *Tracks Laid, Tracks Covered*, is half retrospective of their most popular live songs and half new material to celebrate their 20th anniversary year. The band name references the teams that work in the dark subterranean world of the New York subway system, and hints at the dark themes sometimes to be found beneath the upbeat sunshine rhythms. As an accompanist Daniel has shared stages and studios with notable artists including Eric Clapton, Jerry Douglas, John Hiatt, The Transatlantic Sessions, Sarah Jarosz, and myriad others. While his recording credits are numerous, it is his new solo album *Carpet in The Kitchen* that best epitomizes Daniel’s experience as a writer and arranger. This debut collection features stories set to lyrics and chords that evoke Appalachian murder ballads and story-songs rooted in the folk traditions of Scotland, Ireland and England. The opening track ‘*Loyston*’ remembers the upheaval brought by the displacement of his fellow Appalachians with the construction of the TVA dams, focusing on the inundation of the eponymous town in Northeast Tennessee. Guest appearances on *Carpet in The Kitchen* include **Jerry Douglas** on slide guitars, **Mike Baggetta** (Nels Kline, David Wax Museum) on electric guitar, and **Jordan Perlson** (Gary Burton, Becca Stevens, Snarky Puppy) on Drumset.
